Hey, I've noticed many many artists on here are using computer programs to draw their art. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on a good starting program that I could go out and buy. You know something for beginners that's good to play around with.

The most common ones would most likely be Photoshop and Corel Painter. Some people use MS Paint, but that usually doesn't offer much. If you have the money or alternative means to get Photoshop or Corel, go for it. If you want to make vector art you can use Illustrator or Flash. GL
